FRANCE GEOCACHING

Un projet annoncé depuis quelques mois sur le forum Groundspeak et initié par le modérateur du sous-forum Wherigo "Ranger Fox", une nouvelle plateforme Wherigo maintenue par des développeurs indépendants mais en partenariat officiel avec GS.
L'idée serait de relancer l'amélioration des fonctions et builders Wherigo, entre autres. Je n'ai pas tout lu, mais voici les infos et le nouveau site... A noter que parmi les développeurs, il y a Steamtraen, alias Nick, géocacheur strasbougeois...

The Wherigo Foundation
The Wherigo Foundation (WF) is a group I created with most of the independent Wherigo application developers, both past and present. The foundation’s goal is for Wherigo developers to come together and focus their efforts so we can work on improving and developing Wherigo. In the short term, that means better tools: player, API (so the player can download cartridges just as easily as the geocaching app downloads caches), and (because of the API) an updated site. I estimate this work will take two years beyond the first release. After that, we get to turn to what I’ve always considered my goal: Wherigo as a platform (referred to by me as Wherigo v2.0).

C'est une bonne nouvelle que Steamtraen soit dans l'équipe, vu qu'il est déjà aux commandes de Earwigo.
Il y a également Mangatome, un français de la région de Chambéry qui a été à l'INSA de Lyon, qui est passé par la Suède et est maintenant en Allemagne.
